As helpful as microphones are supposed to be, how the microphone actually picks up sound might be a mystery to many of us. Merriam Productions Adam Parkinson will take you through an in-depth tour through how the microphone works, and how it’s supposed to work for YOU! With live demonstration, Adam will also cover proximity effect, Dynamic control, and Plosives! Anyone interested in getting into live performance, bettering their current live performance, getting into studio recording, or currently working with a band is welcomed, and encouraged to attend this free workshop.
